GWM Cannon Cup Holder Fix: Which One Fits Your Ute?

Drinks rattling, tipping and spilling in the factory cup holders is one of the most common annoyances in the GWM Cannon. We make several cup holder fixes for the Cannon, and the right one comes down to two questions: do you have the original or the facelifted Cannon, and which model is it? This guide sorts it out in under a minute.

Step 1: Original or facelift?

The original (pre-facelift) Cannon was sold from 2021 to early 2025. The facelifted Cannon arrived in 2025. The cup holders are different between the two, so a fix made for one won't fit the other.

Step 2: Which model?

On the original Cannon, the Base, L and CC need their own cup holder fix, separate from the rest of the range. If you have one of those three, skip to that section below.

Original Cannon (except Base, L and CC)

  • GWM Cannon Cup Holder Fix: comes in two sizes. The 75×75mm suits everyday cups and bottles, and the Extra Large fits most Yetis and big drink bottles.
  • GWM Cannon Deluxe Cup Holder Fix: dual 83mm slots with a spacer gap between them, so two drinks sit side by side without bumping. Made for the Cannon X, XSR and Vanta, with an optional hidden AirTag compartment.

Facelifted Cannon (2025 onward)

Standard or Deluxe?

Go with the standard fix if you mainly want a snug fit for your usual coffee or bottle, and pick the size that matches what you drink from. Go Deluxe if you regularly run two drinks at once and want them held apart so they don't knock together.
